Philosophy and experience

I have extensive experience and clinical knowledge in pain sciences, that include the assessment and management of complex musculoskeletal pain states including headache, chronic pain, viscero-somatic pain presentations and complex regional pain syndromes. This pain sciences knowledge is combined with advanced exercise prescription programming for patients requiring rehabilitation from spinal pain, post-operative recovery, athletic injury management and prevention and performance programming, particularly in the adolescent and endurance athlete population.
I believe strongly in the philosophy of patient empowerment through education to allow patients to move towards actively contributing to optimising their health in a complete manner, particularly with the evidence based approaches of exercise.
I have been active in our profession over my career providing educational seminars and lectures at local, state and national conferences on a variety of topics related to pain sciences and athletic performance.
