New or Recent Graduate Program in Hand Therapy

One year position at Melbourne Hand Rehab.

 

The new/recent graduate program in hand therapy is designed to support excellence in hand therapy in up and coming physiotherapists and occupational therapists. You will learn clinical skills from experts in the field, you will be directed in your clinical learning and provided with observation and personal learning time during the work week.

 

Two positions will be available for 2019

 

An average of one day per week will be dedicated to ongoing learning in hand therapy and 4 days clinical load in hand therapy and upper limb.

Fee: No fee for the program is applicable for the successful applicants and additionally, the chosen applicants will be paid a full time wage for their year level according to the award pertaining to private practice.

 

Value of the program: is $10,000

 

Venues: The programs will be held across 2 of the 4 main clinics: Richmond, Melbourne, Heidelberg and Essendon in 2019.

 

Learning outcomes: Hand Therapy Certification Commission learning outcomes in hand therapy are used in all programming.

 

Qualification: No formal certification of any kind is implied or provided.
