About Andrew Silaev

My approach to care:  I am passionate about educating patients about their diagnosis – I strive to make sure every individual I treat knows the ins and outs of their condition. With all of my patients I aim to set goals that we can both work towards, whether that be playing in a footy final next weekend, a dance concert in a month, or just being able to use your hands for everyday use. It is my goal that after every consultation my patients are taking another step closer to being able to do the things that they want to do.

I chose to become a hand therapist to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, surgeons and doctors to provide the best care for patients.

I’m currently competing further medical studies at Deakin University.

Before becoming a hand therapist I was a touring musician. I’ve played in 10 Countries around Europe and all across Australia.
