Experience & Professional Development
Romy graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters in Occupational Therapy Practice from La Trobe University in 2019. During University, Romy completed clinical placements in Hand Therapy with Western Health and acute and subacute rehabilitation at Alfred and Caulfield Hospital.
She has previously been employed as an Occupational Therapist in Aged Care with exposure to common hand conditions seen in elderly people, implementing falls prevention strategies, pressure care and pain management interventions. Romy has always had a strong desire to work with individuals requiring hand and upper limb rehabilitation post injury or condition, leading her to becoming part of the team at Melbourne Hand Rehab.

About Romy Crellin
My approach to care: I established my passion for Hand Therapy during my final clinical placement at University and have continued to concentrate on upper limb rehabilitation as both a general Occupational Therapist and now as a Practitioner in Hand Therapy.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with family and friends, playing netball and travelling.
