Sandy graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from La Trobe in 2018. During university, Sandy completed clinical placements in Hand Therapy at the Royal Melbourne, neurorehabilitation at the Austin Hospital and mental health support at the Alfred Hospital. She also spent 3 months working in Hue University Hospital in Vietnam, developing an occupational therapy program for children with cerebral palsy.
She has previously been employed as an Occupational Therapist and Behaviour Support Practitioner in a community based-setting working with individuals on the NDIS who have a variety of needs and goals. Sandy has always had a strong interest in working with individuals requiring upper limb rehabilitation post injury or neurological conditions, leading her to becoming part of the team at Melbourne Hand Rehab.

My approach to care: I am passionate about implementing a patient-centered approach to care. I believe that it is important to understand people, their background and their individual needs and goals to be able to provide effective care.
I am passionate about leading a healthy and active life. I enjoy going to the gym, playing volleyball and walking my dog. I love to experience new places and cultures, travelling all over the world including Europe, Africa and South-East Asia.
