Post-operative Hand Therapy

Post-operative Hand Therapy

Hand therapy is a key part of your recovery following hand surgery. The team at Melbourne Hand Rehab are physiotherapists and occupational therapists with special training to provide expert rehabilitation of the upper limb.

Following surgery, your therapist will monitor your progress and guide you through an individualised rehabilitation program. Injuries requiring hand therapy include: finger, hand and wrist fractures that have needed surgery; tendon and nerve repairs; or soft tissue injuries ranging from complex crush injuries to fingertip amputations.

Our therapists work closely with a number of excellent surgeons throughout Melbourne to provide evidence-based rehabilitation. We aim to get you back to doing all the things you love.
