Thank You for Watching Our Webinar

The team at Melbourne Hand Rehab hope you found our hand therapy webinar for Managing Chronic Wrist Pain and the SMoC Program informative and helpful.

At Melbourne Hand Rehab we understand the impact that chronic wrist pain can have on your life. We also understand that as an individual, your day to day activities and goals are unique to you.

We’re here to help

Several hand and wrist conditions can cause wrist pain. Often with chronic wrist pain, the nature of the injury doesn’t warrant the amount of pain that is occurring, or the original injury is healed but the pain still persists.

The SMoC program is specifically designed for patients with ‘chronic’ wrist pain. Your hand therapist will assess your condition and advise if the program is right for you.

A typical assessment includes:

    • A conversation about your symptoms, general health and relevant medical history
    • A thorough examination of the affected areas
    • An assessment of your strength and level of pain.

No two treatment plans are the same. Your hand therapist will create an individual SMoC exercise treatment plan for you. Your assessment and review can be delivered via telehealth or face-to-face.
