Melbourne Hand Rehab Telehealth Service

What is Telehealth and how can it help you?

Telehealth is the use of safe and secure video conferencing software to connect you with your Melbourne Hand Rehab therapist. Through this system we are able to provide expert hand therapy consultations:

  • to people in rural and remote areas
  • where specialised hand therapy services may not be available
  • for people with mobility restrictions
  • to busy people who prefer the convenience of an online consultation

On a recent overseas trip, one client was able to access a consultation after sustaining an injury.

The telehealth service worked really well for me because It allowed me to access support in English from a specialist whilst in the middle of Madrid. It’s been a great help particularly psychologically to have the clinical support and a clear plan of treatment because being unable to use your hands when your far away from home and family is a real challenge!

Gabriella M

Even though Gabriella was a new client, the process to organise a consultation was very easy. She simply contacted our admin team and advised that she required a Telehealth consultation. New patient forms and instructions on how to set up and prepare for the Telehealth consultation were sent via email. At the conclusion of her consultation, Gabriella received an online exercise program and a management plan for her injury/condition from her hand therapist.
