Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from La Trobe University in 2025. Throughout his studies, he gained experience across inpatient rehabilitation, NDIS, and community-based neurorehabilitation before discovering his passion for hand therapy during a two-month project placement. There, he spent 10 weeks developing and implementing a novel group therapy protocol for people with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) of the upper limb. Working alongside the hand therapy team, he facilitated a three-week group rehabilitation program as part of a pilot study investigating the effectiveness of group-based therapy in CRPS. Seeing the meaningful improvements in patients’ function, confidence, and quality of life within such a short timeframe cemented Anthony’s passion for hand therapy and evidence-based upper limb rehabilitation.
My approach to care: is centred around education and collaboration. I believe great rehabilitation starts with helping people understand their injury or condition, providing insight into the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind treatment. My goal is to help patients feel confident and engaged throughout their rehab journey, by breaking down complex anatomy and hand therapy principles in a way that is simple, practical, and easy to understand.
Outside of work, I am passionate about all things health and fitness and enjoy keeping active through the gym, running, and watching sport. I also enjoy a good coffee, spending time at the beach, and catching up with family and friends. I value maintaining an active, balanced lifestyle and making the most of the outdoors whenever I can.
