Experience & Professional Development

I am an Occupational Therapist and graduate of La Trobe University, with experience working as an Allied Health Assistant across a range of paediatric private clinics over the past two years. In these roles, I managed caseload responsibilities and supported the delivery of therapeutic interventions while completing my studies.

Throughout my clinical placements at Mildura Base Public Hospital, The Elizabeth Centre, and Bendigo Health, I developed skills in person-centred care, evidence-based practice, and the application of occupational therapy models including the Person-Environment-Occupation (PEO) model to support clients in achieving meaningful SMART goals.

I have also contributed to community-focused projects, including collaborating with Bendigo Health Carer Support Services to identify key stakeholders within the Buloke Shire. This experience strengthened my ability to work collaboratively, build professional relationships, and support community-based health initiatives.

With a strong clinical foundation and a growing interest in hands and upper limb rehabilitation, I am excited to continue developing my skills within this area of practice.

About Isabella Piscioneri

My approach to care: I prioritise a person-centred, strengths-based approach, focusing on empowering individuals to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. By utilising evidence-based interventions and theoretical frameworks, I tailor care plans to address each client’s unique needs, ensuring they feel heard, supported and engaged in the therapeutic process.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active with Reformer pilates and playing hockey and exploring creative outlets like painting and crocheting. I also love catching up with friends and family, enjoying good drinks and food.
