Ken graduated from the University of Melbourne Doctor of Physiotherapy program. He trained with healthcare providers across Victoria to care for patients after surgery, during their rehabilitation, and in returning to their day-to-day life. This included both independent and formal placements at Melbourne Hand Rehab, where he gained experience in diagnosing and treating hand-specific conditions.
Ken has volunteered in various exercise and balance training classes for community-dwelling older adults to help keep them healthy, active, and independent for as long as possible. Ken also has experience in working with children through placements at the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and through volunteering in events such as the biannual Teddy Bear Hospital.
My approach to care: I believe that the recovery process requires teamwork. I aim to work together with my clients to create realistic treatment plans tailored to each step of their rehabilitation, to achieve goals that are important to them. Lastly, if you’re ever unsure about any part of your recovery journey, don’t hesitate to ask questions!
Outside of work I enjoy brewing tea, vocal jazz from the 60s, and spending time with family and friends.
