Experience & Professional Development
Harrison attended La Trobe University to complete his Master of Occupational Therapy degree. Following completing his course, Harrison began his hand therapy journey in gaining a hand therapy position within private practices across Gippsland. During this two-year period, Harrison was able to gain valuable insight into the treatment of multiple conditions whilst managing individual goals and providing insightful education.
In addition to hand therapy, Harrison has had experience in community-based rehab and GEM rehab which focused on helping individuals return to their communities and achieve patient specific goals.
About Harrison Evans
My approach to care: Growing up in the country and being a big lover of sport, I have always had a passion for helping others and trying to get the best out of everyone. Having a career in hand therapy gave me the opportunity to combine my passions and have an impact on other people’s goals and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work you’ll find me either watching football and supporting the Brisbane Lions or looking for my sliced tee shot along the treeline on the golf course.
