Experience & Professional Development
Filion has completed clinical placements at Austin Health – Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital (Outpatient Hand Therapy), Everyday Independence – Bendigo, Village Glen Aged Care and Yarra Ranges Health.
Filion’s experience includes: working with children with conditions including ASD, ADHD and intellectual disabilities; supporting dementia patients requiring assessments for falls, functional movement and pain management; and as a disability support worker.
Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Filion was a surgical resident at the Guangdong Women and Children’s Hospital for 5 years.
