Celine has a special interest in treating:
I have completed clinical placements in various settings including in workplace rehabilitation, community NDIS, and hand therapy. I also have experience working in a transitional housing facility supporting patients with acquired/traumatic brain injuries in developing skills to live independently. These experiences drilled into me the importance of your hands in daily function as well as fostered my interest in various areas of hand therapy and upper limb rehab, with a particular interest in rehabilitating hand function after neurological events such as a stroke or a brain injury.
My approach to care: I am focused on person-centred care and believe in working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes. I am always striving to be able to provide evidence-based treatment tailored to the individual in an empathetic manner, with the ultimate goal of getting people back to doing what they want to do.
Additional languages: Conversational Mandarin, Conversational Japanese
Most days I enjoy gaming and reading in my down time – the latter of which contributed to my interest in repetitive strain injuries as it is quite common in e-sports players. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends when I can, either going to the movies, arcade, karaoke, or just having a good meal!
