Experience & Professional Development
I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University Bendigo, gaining experience across a variety of clinical settings in Victoria and regional Tasmania. This included community health, NDIS home visits, inpatient orthopaedics, and neurological rehabilitation.
I developed a keen interest in hand therapy during a neuro-rehabilitation placement, where I observed the complexity of upper-limb function, sensory retraining, and the meaningful impact that focused hand therapy can have on a person’s independence.
About Wei Jie
My approach to care: I like to emphasise education, collaboration, and helping clients feel supported and confident in their rehabilitation. I enjoy creating practical, meaningful strategies that empower people to take an active role in their recovery.
Outside of work I enjoying playing volleyball, cooking and exploring the great outdoors.
